Targeted yoga for the mental and physical stressors and injuries experienced by this group. The physical benefits of yoga for this group include improved flexibility, strength and lower levels of chronic pain. Mental benefits include helping with symptoms of PTSD, depression, anxiety and stress and improved sleep, focus, resilence and overall mental well-being.

This is suitable for those with conditions such as chronic pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
iRest Yoga Nidra
Supercharged mindfulness!!
Suitable for everyone and trauma sensitive. This form of yoga nidra ( sleep yoga) has been developed for over 29 years by Dr Richard Miller.
iRest is a 10 Step Evidence Based Meditation Protocol easy to practice and suitable for all. It can be performed in any body position and is generally performed seated or lying down in a comfortable position.
Students are guided to achieve a deep restorative state of rest. It improves overall physical and mental well-being and is an evidence based adjunctive therapy for health conditions such as PTSD, insomnia, chronic pain, anxiety, fibromyalgia and stress.
What begins as a guided relaxation becomes a practice of self enquiry leading to greater self awareness, resilience and a deep sense of peace and wellbeing in every circumstance in life.
Individual and group classes or 6-8 week courses available.
Trauma Sensitive Yoga
Classes for those who have experienced trauma directly or indirectly. These classes are trauma sensitive and suitable for those with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety or depression.
I would just like to say that as I have hit late middle age I have noticed that regularly doing a little bit of yoga every day has had a very positive effect on my blood circulation to my hands and feet and also my posture and in general I feel great. Thanks very much Karen! Roger
Yoga for the Pre & Postnatal Period
Yoga classes specific to the needs of pre and postnatal women. These classes include poses and breath techniques for labour, pelvic floor exercises and poses to regain strength in the abdomen and pelvic floor after having a baby.
